The new 'Mark II' BalanceMaster lower limb exerciser is being installed at four DC Leisure sites.
Arena Leisure Centre in Surrey will be the first to install the machine, which offers an increased range of movement and improved user controls.
The BalanceMaster is designed to aid the treatment of lower limb injuries, such as ankle sprains, Achilles tendon repair, anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction and postoperative hip replacement programmes.
Three further DC Leisure-managed leisure centres - Aston Leisure Centre in Aston-cum-Aughton, Wath Leisure Centre in Wath-upon-Dearne and Rotherham Leisure Complex - will see BalanceMaster machines installed, with all three centres expected to open later this year.
